| hepa C & Pregnant Jul 8, 2006 i knew about my diseas 4 years ago, still no treatment,now i am pregnant for 3 week, i am starting worried about my diseas, i am afraid that will come to my baby , please explain me ,,,,,,what you have i dea shall i continue this pregant or not ?? i don't want my child get same diseas like me or get baby defects. The risk of transmitting hepatitis C to your baby is low - about 5 percent. Furthermore, even if your baby got hepatitis C, the chance your child will eliminate the virus on its own is good. If the infection becomes chronic, children can be treated, and they tolerate the treatment much better than adults. So continue with your pregnancy! | |||||||||
