| Hepatitis B shot vaccine Jun 18, 2006 My recently blood test result are HB S AG (Non-Reactive), HB Core AB, Total (Reactive A) and HB S AB (Non-Reactive). Is this mean I am not the Heaptitis B carrier? I have HB S AG(positive) for six years, just changed to HB S AG(Non Reactive). Did I need vaccinated against hepatitis B with three shot of vaccine even HB S AG(Non Reactive)? |

Response from Dr. McGovern
This is extremely interesting. I wonder if you have "lost" your surface antigen which would be great news. The only way to know for sure is to have follow up on your surface antigen again. I would probably also check your HBV DNA as well if you were viremic in the past. If not I would not check this. | |||||||||
