There are several treatments now for hepatitis B including entecavir, pegylated interferon, adefovir, and lamivudine. Several new drugs are on the way as well. Before treatment, your physician will want to see if you have virus in your blood and disease in your liver by checking a liver biopsy. Dr. M | |||||||||
