 Good question. Unfortunately it is difficult to say since anything can go wrong even in later trials. If a side effect pops up, the drug will no longer be developed. This already happened for a powerful HCV drug which was studied a few years ago, which had some cardiac toxicity in animals. I think we are still at least 3 years away, if not more. However, there are some very exciting drugs in the pipeline.... | ||||||||
