Good day! pls do interpret for me my lab test as follows: hepatitis B surface antigen=reactive patient count = 1535 cut-off value 1.00 Pls tell me if i have acute or chronic hepa B and what is the difference bet. the two. Will i become sick if i have acute hepa B? how will i know when i have recovered from anacute hepa B infection?If i have a chronic hepa B infection, shd i be taking medication even if i dont have any symptoms?what treatments are available for chronic hepa B, the benefits of treatment and its side effects?im worried so pls help me.

I cannot tell you answers to any of those questions without the following information:
Where you ever tested before? Did you have symptoms when these labs were taken? What is your core antibody - IgM or IgG? What is your e antigen? e antibody What is your HBV DNA?
any risk for hcv or hiv
