What are the odds of transmitting a hepatitis b by the passing of an inanimate object? Let me get specific: lets say a masseuse is giving a female vaginal massage and periodically touches himself; the masseuse, after handling the massage oil bottle (its nice and greasy now), passes it to a third person. That person, after touching the said bottle and putting it down, masturbates himself. WHat are the chances of the last person (ME!) catching a hepb? Could the virus infect the urethra for example?

Hepatitis B is transmitted through exposure to contaminted blood. Although HBV is present is other body fluids, the vehicle that is closely tied to transmission is blood.
