Hi there, its really confusing me and pls help. I gave birth 5 yrs ago and my doc says Iam a Hepa B+ but i didnt consult any doctor after that. My result HBsAG 16.2 (cut off Value), 1254.1(patient's count)result REACTIVE. My Anti-HBs is non reactive, HBeAG is negative, and anti-HBe is positive. Pls tell me what all about this. Did my son also have this hepa because I have? Cause we find out now my brother and my sister is HBsAG positive, how come we get this hepa and what kind of doctor we need for consultation. Pls help, thanks and GOD BLESS!

Several issues: 1. You have chronic hepatitis B: that I know from your surface antigen positivity. 2. Your HBeAg is negative. However, that does not tell me if your infection is active or not. You need to have a HBV DNA test to see if virus is in your blood. If it is, then your infection is active. If not, then you are an inactive carrier. 3. I am not clear on whether your son was tested, but he does need testing if not. 4. In some countries, hepatitis B is extremely common (sometimes spread at the time of birth). 5. All your affected family members need to see a liver specialist. There are many treatments for hepatitis B now.
Kindly let me know what i am suffering from
