I am 24 years old male from China. I possibly put myself at the risk of Hepatitis C infection a month ago and I received a HCV RNA quantitative test last Friday by PCR as the doctor suggested, the result is no virus was detected in the working range.(80 copies/ml as the paper says) Do I still have to get a follow-up test sometime? Is the quantitative test relevant to a qualitative test, since I have learned from the forum a HCV RNA qualitative test seems the usual way? Thank you, hope to receive your answer.

No that would be fine. I never recommend the qualitative test, it is too commonly false positive. You could repeat the test once more, but it is unlikely to be positive. Congrats! Stay safe! DTD
