| Heb B and Chlam. questions May 29, 2005 i recently was tested for all std's. my results came back and i am confused as to what the results mean. I have received my 3 vacines on Hep.when I was younger. Can someone please tell me if I have these deseases or not by the following results: chlamydia antibodies, igG 1.50H ratio 0.00-0.90 Hep b Surface Ab 28.6H mIU/ml 0.0 - 8.0 Thank you very much. |

Your hepatitis B surface antibodies appear to be protective so the vaccine worked. I am not sure why your provider sent Chlamydia antibodies. I usually send cultures when I am concerned about Chlamydia infection since antibodies can stay positive for years after infection - such is the case with IgG - indicates past infection.
