I had the vaccine against Hep A and B in 2001.
I remember being tested and the tighters comming back good... but I cant find the documentation. what I do have is HEP B SUR AB Reactive and HEPB CORE AB NON - REACTIVE.
I was recently exposed to HEP B... Am I and should I still be protected from the vaccine?
Response from Dr. McGovern
Yes if your surface antibodies are reactive you are protected. You will want to review this with your health care provider in case there are titers that are reported in the reference range which will give a better idea of the level of protection (that is specific to each laboratory).
