Isolated hepatitis B core tests do occur occasionally. Their significance is unclear. Unless you have clear cut risk factors, I am not convinced you have been exposed in the past. Some experts recommend hepatitis B vaccine, but that is also unclear. Dr. McGovern | |||||||||
