 The only significant precautions would be to cover all open wounds and to be sure blood does not get in contact with open lesions of a co-worker.For example, boxers or other similar contact sports athletes could be a risk.HCV is not transmitted by every day contact nor sharing eating utensils or food.Sexual transmition is possible but low.It can be transmitted by sharing razors, needles ,etc. There is no contraindication for a HCV positive worker to be in a close space nor share office equipment or other machinery.Your co-worker needs your concern and help specially if he undergoes treatment that can be difficult.He doesn't need your rejection. He cannot do you any harm. | ||||||||
