PLEASE could you help me am I HepC positive or not? Jul 24, 2003 I had routine bloodwork/STD testing performed LFT came back fine BUT Hepatitis C screening test was positive with a negative HCV RNA and an indeterminate RIBA result...I was retested 3 months later with same exact results. What upsets me is that my doctor could not reassure me of my Hepatitis C status either way. What does another indeterminate result mean? Should I be retested? What test should I be retested with? |

 This one is easy. Ask for a quantitative PCR for HCV. If it is negative you are fine! I would repeat to be certain about 3 months after the first one. Good luck! DTD | ||||||||
