|Can I rest assured now?
Feb 5, 2003
Hi Dr. Dietrich,
Here are the tests I have taken to date and I just want your opinion so I can rest easy. I had an EIA and PCR test 2.5 weeks after exposure - both negative. Then I had a RIBA and additional PCR 7 weeks after exposure - both negative. And liver enzyme tests were all normal both times. Am I finished here...can I move on and not worry about a thing-is it truly negative. I've read that the virus may take a while to show up so that has me worried. Please, your expertise will help me move on.

If your PCR is negative 7 weeks out then you are home free! Congratulations and be careful! DTD
