| my exposure was drawing blood........ help Sep 20, 2002 my only exposure was that i drew blood for a complete blood count{cbc} in a pathology lab, considering my esxposure should i check for hiv,hepatitis? |

Yes, You should check for hepatitis B hepatitis C and HIV by both antibody and if you are really concerned then by PCR. If you were only drawing blood and did not stick yourself, then it should not represent a risk at all. DTD | |||||||||
