Aug 19, 2002 dear doctor,i had the tests done that you said to do,cmv,neg,ebv,showed old or weak positive,they said in the past.ig or somthing that means in the past. dr, can i really rule out hiv now.as my face is losing fat.my last tests were, bdna june,<50.dna pcr one commercial the other in house.by public health lab,in london.also innotest,neg.murex ag/ab neg. gacpat hiv1 neg.gacpat hiv2 neg.as on 1/7/02.(exposure was 23/6/01 or 14/7/01. im seeing a liver doctor this week. i dont appear to be losing weight on the scale. infact ive gained weight. last antibody was neg as of 19/7/02.PLEASE HELP,IM VERY SCARED. |

You do not have HIV according to your tests.Go to the doctor to check for the other viruses,IGG may mean active depending on the titers in some viruses like CMV and EBV> | |||||||||
