HepA Vacci for B carriers Aug 18, 2002 Just wondering if it's a good idea for a Hep B carrier (healthy carrier) to get Hep A vaccination? Would it be possible that the Hep A vaccination may somehow trigger/accelerate/turn an healthy Hep B carrier to an unhealthy carrier? Many thanks for your advice. |

 Chronic carriers of hepatitis B should get vaccinated for hepatitis A. If you live in an area where hepatitis A is common, you may have already been exposed and have already developed immunity. Check with your doctor about vaccination and testing for hepatitis A. | ||||||||
