liver enzymes? May 3, 2002 if there are 7 liver enzymes and one stops working but you dont have hep b what is the cause? |

 Liver enzymes don't "stop working". Abnormal liver enzymes in the blood indicate hepatitis or other irritation to the liver. Abnormal liver tests should be fully evaluated. Many things may cause abnormal liver tests including hepatitis, alcohol, certain prescription medications, hereditary diseases, etc. Your doctor can help investigate the cause of the liver test abnormalities. | ||||||||
