|How long after exposure should one be tested?

Could you please tell me how long after possible exposure, one should be tested for Hepatitis A B & C. How long before they show up on the tests?
Response from Dr. Dieterich
Most of these viruses will make detectable antibodies in 6-12 weeks, but like HIV it can take as long as 6 months. If one wants to make a diagnosis of acute infection, then the PCR viral tests must be done before the antibodies turn positive. DTD
