 Dear Cheriny, Perhaps I used the wrong comparison for interferon side effects, and I certainly did not mean to minimize any of the side effects, because I know that it can be very rough! It is often worse than having a cold, but the basic feelings of fatigue, aches and pains irritability and depression are basically caused by the same substance. When you get a cold or any virus, your body releases interferon and what you feel is the result of that. Pharmacologic doses of interferon will often result in worse side effects, but not for everyone. DTD | ||||||||
