What is the significance of a change in status from e antigen to e antibody?
Response from Dr. Dieterich
That is a good thing. It usually means that you are no longer infectious! That is the endpoint of most clinical trials and is what we consider the best we can usually hope for in hepatitis B. Sometimes when people seroconvert, they go through an acute episode of hepatitis, but the outcome is a good one. DTD
