looking for another alternative Oct 28, 2000 i recently found out in the fall there is going to be a study for co infected people who was already on interferon and did not work. the new drug was pegulated interferon is this true im concerned there is no hope for people in this situation and no research or help i would appreciate your help |

 Yes that is true. We are working on a trial of pegylated interferon for people who have failed to respond to interferon and ribavirin. This will be similar to trials for people who are HIV negative. This will be a long term trial for people who are not responding even to this combination of peg and ribavirin. DTD | ||||||||
