WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE,WOULD HERBS HELP AT THIS POINT? Nov 13, 2000 IT WAS DISCOVERED IN JUN 98, I WAS CO INFECTED WITH HEP C, I AM ALSO HIV, O VIRAL LOAD WITH DRUGS, AND T COUNT AROUND 360. I WAS ON INTER FERON FOR 6 MO.THAN TO THE COMBO INTERFERON,RIB. BOTH FAILED, I AM NOW ON 15M 3xwk with infergan,I HAVE STAGE 3 LIVER DISEASE AS OF 2 years ago and just asked my doctor if he would do another bio. to see if there has been any progression of my liver disease. do you see any reason to continue treatment? and is there any help with this pegalated inferon and rib. that u feel i should take.. ? |

 I do think that Peg may help with a good solid dose of ribavirin (over 10.6 mg/kg). I would suggest a liver biopsy about 3 years after the last one. Meanwhile stay on interferon, it may be helping the fibrosis already. Good luck, it sounds like you are being well advised. DTD | ||||||||
