| pains and aches Jan 1, 2002 I read once that acute hepatitis c acute symptoms can cause arthritis pains and stomach aches as well. Is this solely an acute reaction or also a chronic reaction. |

Acute hepatitis C often has no symptoms. However, in about 25% of cases it can have typical symptoms of hepatitis such as flu-like symtoms and jaundice. Joint pains (particularly with an associated disease called cryoglobulinemia) and mild discomfort in the right upper abdomen can be seen in both acute and chronic disease. | |||||||||
