can people use the same needles more than once?

Response from Dr. Fried

Using needles more than once is never a good idea. Sharing needles will lead to tragic consequences. Re-using disposable needles, even in the medical setting, has also led to high infection rates of HIV and HCV in developing countries where medical practices may be sub-optimal. Please investigate the availability of drug treatment programs in your area.
