I was just diagnosed as HCV pos., after complaints for the last year about my stomache. I get intense pain that sears through under my ribcage on the right to my back, under the shoulder blades. When these syptoms occur, it is usually once a month, and last for a few minutes to a few hours- but I fell like I am dying of a heart attack- is this caused by the HCV. Is there anything that can be done to help me get through these attacks, by the way, I am on a MMT progran already at the highest dose, and that does nothing to make this pain subside! This symptom that you are describing is most likely unrelated to the HCV.You need to go to your doctor and have a complete evaluation,including chest cage,heart,and esophagus.
