Hello,
Thank you for all the work you do here! You are truly a great doctor. Can you please answer my 3 questions?
1)When do the majority of people show Hepatitis C antibodies? Also, why doesn't everyone show antibodies at a certain time? Are there factors that affect the delay of antibodies?
2)If a person takes an antibody test at 6 months, and the test is negative, is the testing finally conclusive? With a negative test at 6 months, can the person forget about the incident?

Thank you for your kind words...
The majority of people show HCV antibodies within 12 weeks, but there are some later seroconverters.
It is unknown why some convert fast (within a few weeks) and others so late (a few months).
An antibody test at 6 months would be conclusive.
