Have a Question About Fusion Inhibitors?

oral ccr5 fusion inhibitors

Question:

Hi Don, This isn't a question, just FYI... Just wanted to let you know that there are trials currently under way for oral solutions for CCR5 antagonists. Here is the best link I have found for current research:

Thanks for your efforts to educate people with resistant forms of HIV. I am a clinical research coordinator for HIV research. There are several companies working hard to come up with oral solutions and new medications. Thank you for letting people know there is hope! We are all working hard for new antiretroviral medications! Tracy

Tracey,

Thanks for your message. I agree with you totally! There are a number of other entry inhibitors in various stages of clinical research. Many of them permit previous and/or current use of Fuzeon as part of the protocols.
