Have a Question About Fusion Inhibitors?

zoloft side effects

Posted: Jun 27, 2005

Question:

My Bf just started taking this medicine about 2 to 3 weeks ago and i have noticed that he's easier to anger and losses his temper much more then he did without it. And i also have noticed that he seems more parnoid, i also just found out that hes starting to feel tingling and muscle aches for no reason. If he stops taking the medicine would he get the nasty withdrawl symptoms i keep hearing about? He also likes to drink a few beers after work how would this effect him?

Response from:

It sounds like your BF might be having some adverse effects from the antidepressant Zoloft. Before stopping the drug, I would suggest he contact the person that prescribed the medication to let them know what's going on.

It's not recommended to drink alcohol while taking this medication. Everyone responds to medication differently. Sometimes people have to try a few antidepressants before they find one that works the best and has the fewest side effects. Good luck to you both...
