| Recent lab results Jul 22, 1999 I recently had some lab work done. The results were not real good but I didn't think bad. Classified as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But now some one has asked if this could be AIDS. I work in the medical field. The results were: EBV Ab VCA, IgG - high abnormal ABS.CD4+CD45RA+lymph - high abnormal Is this chronic fatigue syndrome like the dr. is saying or should I be tested for AIDS like everyone says that is sounds like I have. |

I'm not sure if it sounds like you have AIDS. The blood test abnormalities you've described are found in both HIV infected persons and non-infected persons. It might be a good idea to have the HIV test; then you'll know where you stand and will be able to pursue treatment in the right direction. |
