Am I anemic? I wasn't before, can I be now? Mar 29, 1999 I am always tired, I bruise easily, the skin under my fingernails is purple (darker than other peoples), I get headaches daily, my mind always seems clouded, I can't remember things as well as I used to, and I often have trouble going to sleep. Are these signs of anemia? If they are, what can I do to fix it? |

 Hello Many of the symptoms you are describing can be signs of anemia, but could also be signs of some other medical problem. A bit more information about your medical history is necessary. Do you have HIV disease? What medications are you taking? Have you had a recent complete blood count (CBC)? Your symptoms definitely need evaluation by your doctor. |
