Do people with aids have problems with seizures?
Response from Dr. Frascino
It's indeed possible for someone with AIDS to have seizures. For instance, central nervous system toxoplasmosis, an AIDS-related opportunistic infection, can lead to seizures. There are, however, many non-AIDS-related causes for seizures as well: epilepsy or head trauma, for instance. Anyone who has had a seizure deserves a full medical workup to determine the cause.
