| WE NEED MORE HIV POS PEOPLE PUTTING THEIR HAND UP FOR CLINICAL TRIALS Oct 27, 2008 Hi Dr Bob, l have been hiv positive for 8 years and have recently put my nane down for a clinical trial on a new hiv treatment, but we are waiting for more people to come on board, l live in new zealand, What l am trying to say here is everyone is looking for new meds, maybe a cure for hiv, but not putting there hand up for clinical trials, we need numbers and support to get some of the new drugs tested, so everyone who is hiv positive and dreams of better drugs or maybe a cure... get involved in clinical trials its the only way we will move forward in treatments and who knows maybe the holy grail cure for hiv... FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE... |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi, Thank you for reinforcing a point that many HIVers who are longing for (and even demanding) new therapies surprisingly overlook! We wouldn't be where we are today without the magnanimous folks who came before us and bravely "put their hand up." Dr. Bob |
