|type of test to take
Jun 14, 2008
hi dr bob! you're a man among men! question relating to types of HIV tests: what is the blood test for antibodies called? the clinic calls it a 'rapid test' - is that the only name it is referred to as? and on a more general note, these antibody tests as opposed to the tests specifically looking for the virus itself are only deemed reliable after 3 months post-exposure right? thanks and god bless
