Is spermicide poisonous
Jan 2, 2007

My boyfriend was using a condom that was lubricated with spermicide. After he took off the condom I put his penis in my mouth. After a while my tongue started feeling numb. My tongue is better now, but I'm still worried that I had spermicide in my mouth. Do I need to see a doctor?

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello,

Spermicides used on condoms are not poisonous. Frevinsakes! No, you do not need to see a doctor. And you have absolutely no cause for concern!
