Armpit boil Oct 23, 2006 Dear Dr Bob, I have a boil under my armpit the size of a half golf ball. It is extremely painful. It does show a head and I am afraid to break it on my own. What should I do? I am HIV positive. LJS |

 Hello LJS, I'd recommend you see your HIV doctor or a dermatologist to have the boil lanced, drained and treated. Good luck. Dr. Bob |
