Hi Dr. Bob, I was just wondering what type of organization yours is? Is it completely nonprofit? How much has your organization raised so far and over how long a period of time? Thanks
Response from Dr. Frascino
The Robert James Frascino AIDS Foundation is as tax-exempt 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization whose sole mission is to provide crucial services for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS and to raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic through advocacy and education. In 1996 Dr. Steve Natterstad (Dr. Steve, the expert in The Body's Tratamientos Forum) and I, as HIV/AIDS specialists and concert pianists, planted the seed for the Foundation when we performed a private HIV/AIDS benefit piano concert at our home. Due to the overwhelming success of that initial intimate musical soirée, we founded The Concerted Effort HIV/AIDS Benefit Concert Series and in 1999 incorporated the Foundation as a tax-exempt charitable organization. To date we have raised over $1,000,000 for crucial HIV/AIDS services worldwide. The Foundation's latest newsletter, as well as details about our year-end raffle, is now posted on The Foundation's Web site, www.concertedeffort.org. Click on "Newsletter."
Stay well. Happy Holidays!
Wouldn't have gotten results without you-thanks
