Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello, Unfounded? Why would I say that? Ill stand by my statements. Supplements are supplements. They are not antivirals. Otherwise, theyd be called antivirals, right? You sound a bit defensive, perhaps you are a vitamin salesman, or own an alternative medicine shop? Im just here to give clinically sound and scientifically based advice. Supplements are helpful if someone is deficient in something. For instance, if someone has B12 or folic acid deficiency due to inadequate diet or a malabsorption syndrome, then this can lead to anemia. "Supplemental" vitamin therapy in this case would be warranted and very helpful to replace the deficient nutrients and correct the anemia. OK? Hope that helps clarify things for you. Dr. Bob |
