|1st Time Posting, PLEASE read...
Nov 14, 2002
Hello Doctor. This is my first time posting to you but I have read ALL your posts atleast 4x. I did something really stupid. I broke up with my g/f after a long relationship and received oral sex (bj) from an unknown promiscuous girl (after my friends kept saying "This is single life!". This girl had braces (not sure if that matters) and exactly 4 weeks after, I got a sore throat (dry mouth), runny nose, white coating on 'back' of the tongue. Symptoms persisted for more than a month. Coating is still there and I noticed around 4 black spots on my body (like beauty marks). I got tested at 3 and 11 weeks through my doctor's office (which he didn't think was even necessary), both tests came back negative. He refuses to test me again for this episode. I accidently miscalculated the days. The last test was 78 days (11 weeks) not 84 (12 weeks) but I am Dying to WOO-HOO!!!, I really don't want to get tested again and I am working on treating my anxiety. I just want to make sure HIV is out of the picture. From your expert opinion, can I please please please WOO-HOO?? Thank you, you are the best.
Response from Dr. Frascino
I agree with your doctor. By the way I hope braces gal didn't have any loose wires... ouch! Go ahead - WOO-HOO! And keep working on getting that anxiety under control, OK?
