Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello SLO, A "false" sense of well-being? No, not really. But you might indeed be feeling significantly better on your testosterone replacement therapy. It's a question of how happy can "Mr. Happy" be? When our testosterone levels are low, we can feel fatigued and have a variety of other symptoms, including decreased libido. So when you bring your testosterone levels back up with AndroGel; you and Mr. Happy will both perk up, so to speak; and that usually gives one a sense of well-being. Is it a "false" sense? No, it's real. Testosterone also helps us put on muscle mass, which makes us fill out our jeans and tank tops, as well as look better naked. Just another reason to feel better about ourselves. Enjoy your new vitality. Dr. Bob |
