low testosterone
Apr 1, 2002

Are there clinical/medical reasons other than HIV which might acount for low testosterone levels? Other viral infections, diabetes?

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello,

Yes, there are a great many other potential causes for low testosterone. Even trying to list them is beyond the scope of this forum. HIV disease is one cause. For other reasons, check with your doctor. S/he will be able to zero in on potential causes for your particular situation. Stay well.

Dr. Bob
