| bio alcamid May 22, 2009 hi i know that the bio alcamid is a permanent filler but due to tissue movement inside the face this filler could not be 100% permanent . some says it last for 8 months others for 3 years and some others for 5 years . when should i see a loss of this filler? thanks |

Hello, and thanks for posting. Bioalcamid is a permanent filler and does not degrade. This does not mean that additional treatment may not be necessary at some point later on because of the effects of facial aging and lipoatrophy. As mentioned in previous posts, the worry about Bioalcamid is the chance of late infection. The rate of this complication has not been well defined, but it complicates life for the person affected if it does occur. Good luck! | |||||||||
