Bio-Alcamid overdone?
Jan 26, 2009

it is my 4th day of bio-alcamid filling in my cheekbone. i believe it is a little bit over filled.should it go down soon ? when can i see the final result. thanks

Response from Dr. Pierone

In general, any facial filler injection leads to some inflammation and swelling which adds temporary fullness to facial appearance. There may also be some internal bleeding and bruising which will also contribute to the swelling. So it is not uncommon people to look overdone or have uneven results within the first week or two after a facial treatment.

So it is best to defer judgment on any facial filler injections for at least one or two weeks until the inflammation and swelling resolve.
