Response from Dr. Pierone
In general, any facial filler injection leads to some inflammation and swelling which adds temporary fullness to facial appearance. There may also be some internal bleeding and bruising which will also contribute to the swelling. So it is not uncommon people to look overdone or have uneven results within the first week or two after a facial treatment. So it is best to defer judgment on any facial filler injections for at least one or two weeks until the inflammation and swelling resolve. | ||||||||||
