Thin Face Jun 24, 2008 What is the best solution to getting my face fuller.I`ve beed living with Hiv since 1989,my counts are good and I workout 4 times a week.I don`t have a problem with muscle mass but my face has is so thin..I also have type 2 diabetes but my readings are fantastic...Please help ! |

 The answer to this question depends on where you live. In the United States the approved agents are Sculptra and Radiesse. Both products work, but do require a series of injections separated by at least several weeks. Patient assistance programs are available to help with reimbursement as well. Silicone is available, but not many doctors have experience treating facial lipoatrophy. In Canada Bioalcamid and Sculptra are available. In Mexico, South America, and Europe PMMA is also available for treatment of lipoatrophy. PMMA is a permanent filler, and as such, is less forgiving of improperly placed product. But an advantage of PMMA is that a full correction may be achieved in 2 or 3 treatments. I hope this information helps and best of luck! | ||||||||
