Best Facial FIller May 10, 2007 I was wondering what facial filler you feel has the best, longest lasting results for corrrecting fat loss due to lipoatrophy. I'm considering fat transfers or New-fill, but would like to get your opinion on those or any other treatments available. Also which treatments may be covered by insurance in the US? Thanks! |

 To my knowledge there hasn't been a head to head comparison of facial fillers (such as Sculptra versus Radiesse which are approved in US) to answer your excellent question with solid data. Many insurance progams don't pay for facial injections but some do though often justification has to be spelled out in great detail through a pre-approval process. I don't have enough experience with long term results (ie > 2-3 years) to be able to make any recommendations with any confidence. KH | ||||||||
