|lips and facial wasting
Apr 6, 2005
My partner has a protuberant belly and is beginning to have sufficient facial wasting that it is telling. Maybe I'm more concerned about this than he is. It's hard to say as he won't talk much about this. How effective is liposuction for a protuberant belly and how long is it likely to last? What about implants for his facial wasting? Once again. how long would this treatment be effective? Finally, what do you hear about Juvon? What are the pro and cons for this?

The prominent abdomen can be treateed symptomatically with liposuction, but the key here is to try to remove the cause, if possible. If he is on HAART, he should talk to his provider about going on a regimen that s least associated with lipodystrophy. As for the facial wasting, the fillers could work quite nicely if done by an experienced surgeon and it is often best to shop around to a few and see pictures of the results that have been obtained by a particular surgeon before making a final decision.
As for the Juvon, I have not heard of it, so I won't be able to help you much there.
