adverse outcome?
Jul 4, 2006
Hi, I wrote here that I am planning on suctioning fat from some areas and putting some fat in my face and elbows. You wrote that there were some reports about adverse results? What kind? What happened? Does this mean you do not recommend doing it? I waited so long for it so my face will look better and now... well, I must know what did u mena and what's your recommendation? I will be doing this surgery in 10 days.

Response from Dr. Conway

The main side effects are that the procedure may not work as planned, or there may be some local inflmmation or infection, either at the site the fat is removed or the site it is added.
As for a recommendation, the best advice ai can give you is to talk with the surgeon who will do the proceudre and ask what complications they have encountered, and to ask to see what results they have obtained. Ask to see "before and after" pictures and then make up your mind if you would want to go ahead with the procedure.
