mixed positive/negative relation Oct 24, 2005 Hi There, Me and my boyfriend just found out i'm seropositive a couple of hours ago: i'm still intellectualising this so as not to have to deal with it emotionally. Assuming he's not (the tests are underway), what do statistics say about the liklyhood of him being infected in our relationship, provided safe sex is practiced. |

 If protection is consistently and correctly used the chances are extremely low that he would become infected. It usually takes awhile for people to adjust to this news - so hang in there. It is good for you and him to speak about this, including your questions and fears. If you think it would be helpful, speak with a counselor. But do give yourselves time. |
