exhashiv Jul 24, 2001 i am dating a girl who's last boyfriend had hiv but she and her baby have tested clean for the last six mounths. Can that change or are thay ok. P.S he never told her until she was five mounths pregnant and he is know in jail. Can you help me in my problem becouse I dont want to hurt this girl. |

 If your girlfriend's last sexual contact with her former boyfriend was over 6 months ago and she has repeatedly tested negatove over the past 6 months, she is not likely to be HIV infected. Your girlfriend's baby would only be at risk for infection if your girfriend were infected, so she is also likely not infected. |
