I am so embarrased-- My penis has a mind of its own; I got a hard-on in the doctor's office! Feb 23, 2003 My concern is that I got an erection when the doctor was examining me. And because my penis seems to have a mind of its own, I am concerned what my doctor may say or think when it happens? Please don't disregard this question, as it does seriously concern me, thanks |

 You'd be surprised how often this concern "pops up". There is no reason to be embarassed by a normal bodily function (an erect penis). Penises do indeed have "minds of their own"-- I doubt there are many men on the face of this earth who have not had an erection at an awkward time. I imagine your physician has dealt with this issue on many many occasions so it's unlikely to phase him/her. |
